Anxiety Test Results

**Please Note:** This test is NOT intended to give a diagnosis for anxiety. This test might be helpful in identifying anxiety symptoms, and to help you in your decision to seek a professional medical evaluation.

Add one point for every item you responded "yes" to. Use the scale below to determine your estimated level of anxiety and our recommendations for your situation. Please remember that other factors can increase your score such as drug or alcohol use, some medical problems and caffeine.

No Anxiety Symptoms

You have been able to avoid anxiety. Keep handling your life situations as you always have but if you find anxiety or stress catching up with you, seek help to keep it under control.

1-4 Mild Anxiety

Some of the items you responded to are symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder and other disorders in this category. Your general symptoms may be mild, but it might be wise to look into those items which you know are causing problems for you to determine if they are also causing problems in other areas of your life.

5-10 Major Anxiety

You have many of the symptoms commonly seen in people who suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and other disorders in this category. You worry excessively, feel out of control at times, and fear that things will go wrong even without information to support this. If anxiety is causing you distress or getting in the way of achieving your goals, our recommendations would include looking into therapy, medication, or a support group.
